C. M. Dore' is a writer, artist, librarian, and preservationist from Crowley, Louisiana.

 

As an enthusiast in all things strange and unusual, Dore' delights in creating different and unique art pieces and narratives utilizing the rich history and culture of the community she was brought up in. Her novels seek to infuse Louisiana folklore with science fiction and the paranormal universe. Her art seeks to balance traditional pen and ink styles with whimsy and elements of Art Nouveau.

As a preservationist, Dore' hopes to aid in preserving the historic places, structures, and oral history that have inspired her in order to equally inspire generations to come.
